Savings Bond Information
Treasury will end over-the-counter sales of paper savings bonds on December 31, 2011, including sales through financial institutions and applications mailed directly to the Federal Reserve Bank. Savings bonds will continue to be available for purchase electronically in TreasuryDirect.

Minnesota’s Food Share Campaign
The month of March was Minnesota’s Food Share Campaign and American Bank employees came out in full force to help FIGHT HUNGER! American Bank customers and bank employees raised just under $5,000 and 400 pounds of food for our local food shelves. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped FIGHT HUNGER!

Amy Trast, VP Retail Banking, American Bank (middle) presents Sue Estee, Executive Director of Second Harvest Food Bank and Ellen Christmas, Food Shelf Director with a check for $235 and 178 pounds of food that was collected from customers and employees during the Minnesota Food Share drive during March.

American Bank employee’s Ashley Broten and Sheila LeMoine present the Quad Cities Food Shelf with a check in the amount of $450 which was collected from customers and bank employees during the month of March For the Minnesota Food Share drive.

The Mighty Mutts benefit was a HUGE success, thank you to all the businesses and individuals who donated auction and raffle items, thank you to all the GREAT restaurants who participated and showcased their “best chicken wings.” They were flavorful! And thank you to all who came and participated in the event. We had tremendous community support. Mighty Mutts Volunteers.
