The Salvation Army
American Bank employees volunteered with the Salvation Army on December 13th, ringing the bells the entire day at Super One locations in Hibbing, Grand Rapids and Virginia.

Second Harvest North Central Food Bank
Christmas time is truly the season of giving. Not only giving gifts but giving back to our communities. Our amazing staff gave their time by helping the Second Harvest North Central Food Bank in Grand Rapids.

Winter Gear Drive - United Way of Northeastern Minnesota
American Bank held a Winter Gear Drive for United Way of Northeastern Minnesota in November. We collected 362 hats, mittens, gloves, scarves for children in need in our communities.

Employees participated in Jumpstart's Read for the Record. This is the world's largest shared reading experience - bringing together over 2 million people each year in classrooms, libraries, community centers, and homes across the US.

Community Cafe - Itasca Empty Bowl Project
Buddy Backpack - United Way of Northeastern Minnesota
American Bank employees volunteered at United Way of Northeastern Minnesota Dick Enrico Building and packed 1,760 backpacks with nutritious, nonperishable, child-friendly food items for children who are at risk of going hungry over the weekends due to various reasons. This program is designed to assist over 900 children that are facing hunger between the Iron Range and Koochiching County.
Community Impact Week
Every September, American Bank participates in Community Impact Week. It’s a way for banks to highlight the many opportunities available to help build stronger, local communities. We are a community bank, with community values and are committed to giving back to local organizations not only during this week, but all year round. During Community Impact Week, American Bank supported the United Way of Northeastern MN, Grace House, Care Partners and Feeding My Starving Children.
National Night Out
American Bank employees volunteered during National Night Out on August 7, 2018 at Hibbing Bennett Park. They assisted in handing out food to the public during the city-wide free picnic.

American Bank made a donation of $2,500 to the renovation of the historic Lyric Building. The Lyric Center for the Arts mission is to provide artistic and educational opportunities for children and adults across the Iron Range while renovating the historic Lyric Building. American Bank proudly sponsors the arts in our communities.

Meet Up and Chow Down - United Way of Northeastern Minnesota
American Bank employees volunteered in Nashwauk, Hibbing, Chisholm and Eveleth Monday - Thursday all summer long to help with United Way's Meet Up and Chow Down program - a free summer lunch program for all children. The program is provided through support from the USDA and Minnesota Department of Education's Summer Food Service Program.

Day of Action - United Way of 1,000 Lakes
United Way of 1,000 Lakes Day of Action took place on June 21, 2018. American Bank employees who volunteered at this event spent the day painting, landscaping, creating public art and assembling care packages.

Hygiene Drive - United Way of Northeastern Minnesota
American Bank held a Hygiene Drive for the United Way of Northeastern Minnesota in March 2018. We collected hygiene products for children in need in our area communities.
American Bank employees volunteered at the 8th Annual Might Mutts event which raised over $24,000. All monies raised during this event benefits our area animal shelters.
