we are Committed to Giving Back.

Donations from Park State Bank support organizations that focus on improving the health and vitality of communities in our markets.  Our long legacy of active community participation has been a part of our heritage since inception and has continued to grow in recent years.   We pride ourselves on our commitment to meeting the needs of, fueling opportunities in, and combating challenges faced by our communities.  Our commitment includes giving of our time, talent, and resources to help build a brighter future in the places we call home.

Donations are limited to organizations defined as tax-exempt under Section 501©(3) of the IRS code or to charities who do not meet the 501(c) 3 guidelines but meet the bank's criteria.  Organizations and groups interested in applying for donations must complete an online application.

Here are a few things to keep in mind as you prepare your application:

  1. Make sure your project/organization is within our market area. Donations and sponsorships are awarded to organizations that benefit residents, customers and communities in areas served by Park State Bank.
  2. Provide enough detailed information in your request so reviewers have a clear understanding of your fundraising efforts.
  3. Allow up to 45 days for the application to be reviewed.

Community Reinvestment Act

The Community Reinvestment Act is intended to encourage depository institutions to help meet the credit needs of the communities in which they operate, including low-and moderate-income neighborhoods, consistent with safe and sound operations. It was enacted by the Congress in 1977 (12 U.S.C. 2901) and is implemented by Regulation BB (12 CFR 228).

The CRA requires that each depository institution's record in helping meet the credit needs of its entire community be evaluated periodically. That record is taken into account in considering an institution's application for deposit facilities.
